Princeton Cancer Center is a joint venture with local and regional medical community members and the Gibson General Hospital to provide radiation therapy and medical oncology services in the Gibson County area. Princeton Cancer Center started out in 1986 in Princeton as the Tri-County Cancer Center, with a cobalt unit attached to Gibson General Hospital. Over the years, the Tri-County physicians have successfully treated many area residents. As technology has grown, today's higher, newer energy radiation services are available in smaller communities such as Princeton. The new Princeton Cancer Center not only provides a newer high-energy unit (6-7 MV Linear Accelerator), but will also offer medical oncology service. A Board Certified Medical Oncologist has been recruited to oversee this program and will begin treating cancer patients at the Center beginning in October 2001.
Practicing physicians at the Princeton Cancer Center include Radiation Oncologists Moises B. Domingo, M.D., Pramod V. Prabhu, M.D., Al Korba, M.D., and Aly Razek, M.D.; and Medical Oncologists Jolanta Cichon, M.D., Ronald Ruszkowski, M.D., and Rick Ballou, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr.'s Moises Domingo and Pramod Prabhu are "very happy to be able to provide care again for Gibson County and surrounding area residents."
