Local Oncologists Nationally Honored
May 23, 2001 - Al Korba, M.D., Radiation Oncologist, Medical Director, Evansville Cancer Center and Aly Razek, M.D., Radiation Oncologist from the Evansville Cancer Center were inaugurated as Fellows in the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) on May 6, 2001.
Both oncologists were nominated for their prestigious award by the American Board of Radiation Oncology with supporting documentation from ACRO members and recommendations from oncologic peers.
Dr's Korba and Razek are proud to be recognized by an organization that exclusively and uniquely represents radiation oncologists. Expected standards of ACRO include improved medical care for patients with cancer and the promotion of the education and science of radiation oncology. Dr's Korba and Razek received their fellowship at the American College on Radiation Oncology Annual Meeting in Santa Monica, California.
