ACRO Accreditation Earned
The Evansville Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Department earns a three year accreditation from the American College of Radiation Oncology.
April 6, 2001 - The Evansville Cancer Center has the only ACRO accredited practice in the tri-state area. The American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) has granted the Evansville Cancer Center a three-year accreditation for the radiation oncology practice.
This prestigious accreditation was granted after in-depth appraisals of the practice facility, equipment, policies, procedures, staff, and clinical treatment methods were reviewed. In addition, the physician practice and Medical Physics Department at the Evansville Cancer Center was examined and found to be practicing within multiple nationally accepted standards of current radiation oncology practice. For the past 12 years, the Evansville Cancer Center has provided a full range of competent, compassionate radiation therapy services.
