2008 Doctors' Day

The Vanderburgh Medical Alliance’s Doctors’ Day at the Museum took place on Saturday, March 1st. Evansville Cancer Center/Vantage Oncology was proud to be a Silver Sponsor of this event with the theme "Block the Sun, NOT the Fun!"

Two DermaScan machines were available, and kids were allowed to make bracelets out of UV sensitive beads. ECC staff provided educational materials and demonstrations with a UV sensitive Frisbee supplied by the EPA. Sunscreen was given out courtesy of Del-Ray Blue Lizard. The event reached nearly 2000 people young and old with a very important message of prevention!
